Founded in December 2022, Women in Sports Helping Inspire the Next Generation (WISHING) is a 501(c)(3) designed to give all girls opportunities to learn about careers in the sports industry.
Our Programs
Mentorship
High school and college girls are matched with women who work in the sports industry. Through monthly large group sessions and one-on-one sessions, students establish connections in the sports industry and learn about careers in the sports industry.
Career Exploration
Students gain hands-on experience in the sports industry through job shadowing opportunities with their mentors.
Scholarships
Every girl should be able to pursue a career in the sports industry. WISHING provides scholarships for women who are moving onto post secondary education.
